Wedding Toasts: By The Bride To Her Mother

(Looking at the audience, say…) “I would like to propose a toast to my mother.

(Looking directly at your mother, make eye contact, and say…)  “I am proud to call you mom. Thank you for your unselfish love, your understanding, your loyalty.  You have encouraged me and believed in me and you have set an example of the kind of person that I would like to be.”

Thank you…to my mom.”

(Looking directly at your mother, make eye contact, and say…)  “Mom, would you please stand so that everyone can see you.

There is an old proverb that says, ‘God could not be everywhere…so he made mothers.’

Mom, for as long as I can remember, you have always been there for me.  Thank you for everything that you have done for me, everything you have meant to me, everything you sacrificed for me.

(Looking at the audience, say…)  Now, would you all join me in this toast to my mother.”
