How To Introduce A Competing Concept Or Tactic

Here’s a wonderful power phrase that you can use in various settings—from one-to-
ones with the boss to team discussions to boardroom presentations.

You can use it in negotiations to break an impasse.

You say simply, “COULD I GIVE YOU AN ALTERNATIVE APPROACH?”

What are they going to say?

NO?

Of course not. This power phrase may not get your idea accepted, but it’s a frictionless way to get a hearing for it.

Just remember that the key word in this power phrase is ALTERNATIVE.

Thank you Dr. Paul Schempp for sharing this power phrase with me.
