Here’s what some Trump supporters are saying. Vote for the Plan not for the Man
That particular slogan would have worked in the Third Reich.
Hitler had quite a plan.
Today we have the gift of hindsight, but in the Thirties Hitler impressed, and fooled, a lot of people.
He revived the economy with modern factories, autobahns, sleek new trains, autos, and aircraft, booming agriculture scientific discoveries, and technological advances. It all was studied and emulated throughout the world.
Higher education flourished. Students came from everywhere to attend German universities and earn German advanced degrees.
Hitler fought the Communists, despised the press, loathed liberals, and attended church.
He built his political base with forgotten people—conservative, rural and small-town Germans. He hated non-German immigrants
Hitler glorified traditional German values, idealized Germany’s past, and was committed to making Germany great again.
It was good to be German. There was national pride. Patriotism flourished.
Hitler believed in a strong military, equipped his armed forces with the latest technology, funded nuclear military research, and gave unstinting support to the police.
Hitler used a version of Germany First as a favored political slogan.
It was quite a plan. Millions said they’d never seen anything like it.
Fast forward. The FB page of one prominent Trump supporter has these words:
“Vote for the Plan not the Man. Don’t bash candidates here. Comment only on their Plan/Strategy/Solutions.
I’ll delete comments about persons, character, lies.”
Yup, those are the exact words.
Hitler craved praise and adulation.but he might have grudgingly accepted that slogan. He was proud of his plan.
Do you think he would have wanted people to discuss his character, lies, corruption, racism, and cruelty?
